This is where I say my Bit. So you can either read on or GO Home....

With the millennium coming to a close it is time for reflection over the past years. For me that means almost 50 years and that makes me feel old... But then again not too many people will have lived both in the 20th and the 21st Century. Lucky ME.

For me it's been Fun.. Well most of the time.

The events that I remember and bring back memories are:-

John F Kennedy (so where were you?).
Vietnam.
Harold Wilson.
The Chinese Restaurant at Sawbridgeworth.
Friends, No not the TV series (arghhhhhh) but friends who somehow have over the years put up with me. How ???????.
GPO
BT For just over 25 years. Remember the old days there where dozens of us, well it seems that way, looking after strowger exchanges, ahhhhhhhhhhhh Those where the days my friend, days that will never fade......
The Cross the Bridges Walks.
The £, Don't want the Euro.
The Berlin Wall.
Apollo 13.
Sir Clive Sinclair. ZX80/81 Spectrum, QL and C5.
The Kids (Micheal and Gemma).
Blackpool in the rain.
Concorde.

Music I remember for one reason or another includes

The Beatles (Hey Jude) and Let it be, on the roof.
The Moody Blues (Nights in White Satin).
Harry Neilson (Without you) the theme song at my Wedding Ahhhhhhhhh.

Theatre shows, in particular, Phantom of the Opera......
