Hello.........Here will appear the thoughts of Colin 2008 - Goto latest NEWSThe events that I remember and bring back memories are:-January - At last the installation of the new kitchen begins. Its been a long wait and a few problems in between but while the wait is over the mess begins. Hard to believe we started this project back in July 2007, we had a few false starts but hopefully the correct decisions have been made. Fingers crossed.The Old Kitchen - (seems ok to me)
The New Beginnings
February - The Kitchen Continues. 2 weeks later and the new kitchen is installed, but still lots to do. Extra cupboards, wall tiles, flooring, cooker hood and lighting. No help now just me to do. The Kitchen is installed, but not finished
March - The Kitchen Continues April - Yes Still Continues May - Ah Can this be the end And for a change a visit to Cromer June - Alcudia here we come, off to the Apartment...
We Continue to explore the island, which does not disappoint, and new sights are found. Plenty more to see I hope... July - We decide to try and sell the dolls inherited from my mother at a craft fair. I spend a fair amount of time cataloguing the dolls and taking pictures of them. My mother spent a fair amount of money on them it seems a shame to confine to there box's they should be on display.
August - September - October - The world financial markets begin to wobble in a big way November - The Crash happens. Shares on a daily basis seem to lose 10%, where will it end, some good news is that interest rates are cut to 3% as a recession looms. The finishing touches to the front room continue as we buy a Rolf Harris painting, just need to get it framed. December - Brrr its cold and wet. But nevertheless have been out travelling. First to Worcester and Warwick Castle
